Aims: The study aimed to evaluate the effect of smear layer on push-out bond strength silicone-based root canal sealers. Materials and methods: Sixty extracted, single-rooted, sound human mandibular first premolar teeth were selected for this study. Crown portion each tooth was decoronated level cement-enamel junction standardize length 16 mm. working measured by subtracting 1mm from visually determined canals instrumented using ProTaper universal rotary system up size F3. divided into two groups according irrigating solutions used. Group.1 rinsed with 2.5% sodium hypochlorite followed 17% EDTA ensure complete removal. Group.2 0.9% normal saline keep layer. Then samples subdivided three subgroups sealer used gutta-percha. These include AH Plus, GuttaFlow 2, Bioseal groups. test performed testing machine data analyzed independent sample T-test at (p ≤ 0.05) compare results group in presence absence Results: For all sealers’ has shown a statistically significant difference between 1 (without layer) 2 (with layer). removal produced higher Plus sealer, whereas both decreased when removed. Conclusion:Smear positive value sealer. not improved following
